Luke 19:41-44 CEV . . .When Jesus came closer and could see Jerusalem, he cried (42) and said: It is too bad that today your people don't know what will bring them peace! Now it is hidden from them. (43) Jerusalem, the time will come when your enemies will build walls around you to attack you. Armies will surround you and close in on you from every side. (44) They will level you to the ground and kill your people. Not one stone in your buildings will be left on top of another. This will happen because you did not see that God had come to save you.
Luke 19:41-44 GNB . . .He came closer to the city, and when he saw it, he wept over it, (42) saying, "If you only knew today what is needed for peace! But now you cannot see it! (43) The time will come when your enemies will surround you with barricades, blockade you, and close in on you from every side. (44) They will completely destroy you and the people within your walls; not a single stone will they leave in its place, because you did not recognize the time when God came to save you!"
Luke 19:41-44 BBE . . .And when he got near and saw the town, he was overcome with weeping for it, (42) Saying, If you, even you, had knowledge today, of the things which give peace! but you are not able to see them. (43) For the time will come when your attackers will put a wall round you, and come all round you and keep you in on every side, (44) And will make you level with the earth, and your children with you; and there will not be one stone resting on another in you, because you did not see that it was your day of mercy.
Luke 19:41-44 ESV . . .And when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it, (42) saying, "Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. (43) For the days will come upon you, when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every side (44) and tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation."

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
