Isaiah 8:14-18 BBE
And he will be for a holy place: but for a stone of falling and a rock of trouble to the two houses of Israel, and to the men of Jerusalem, for a net in which they may be taken. (15) And numbers of them, falling on the stone, will be broken, and will be taken in the net. (16) Let my teaching be kept secret: and my words be given to my disciples only. (17) And I will be waiting for the Lord, whose face is veiled from the house of Jacob, and I will be looking for him. (18) See, I and the children whom the Lord  (יהוה) has given me, are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of armies, whose resting-place is in Mount Zion.

Isaiah 8:14-18 LITV
(14) And He shall be for a sanctuary, and for a stone of stumbling, and for a rock of falling to the two houses of Israel; for a trap and for a snare to the ones living in Jerusalem. (15) And many among them shall stumble and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. (16) Bind up the Testimony, seal the Law among My disciples. (17) And I will wait on Jehovah  (יהוה), who hides His face from the house of Jacob; and I will look for Him. (18) Behold, I and the children whom Jehovah  (יהוה) has given to me are for signs and wonders in Israel from Jehovah of Hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion.

Isaiah 8:14-18 GW
He will be a place of safety for you. But he will be a rock that makes people trip and a stumbling block for both kingdoms of Israel. He will be a trap and a snare for those who live in Jerusalem. (15) Many will stumble. They will fall and be broken. They will be trapped and caught. (16) Tie up the written instructions. Seal the teachings among my disciples. (17) I will wait for the LORD, who hides his face from the descendants of Jacob. I will hope in him. (18) I am here with the children that the LORD  (יהוה) has given me. We are signs and symbols in Israel from the LORD  (יהוה) of Armies, who lives on Mount Zion.

Isaiah 8:14-18 MKJV
(14) And He shall be a sanctuary for you, but for a stone of stumbling, and for a rock of falling to both the houses of Israel, for a trap and for a snare to the people of Jerusalem. (15) And many among them shall stumble and fall and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. (16) Bind up the testimony, seal the Law among My disciples. (17) And I will wait on Jehovah  (יהוה), who hides His face from the house of Jacob; and I will look for Him. (18) Behold, I and the children whom Jehovah  (יהוה) has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from Jehovah of Hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion.

Isaiah 8:14-18 NWT
14 And he must become as a sacred place; but as a stone to strike against and as a rock over which to stumble to both the houses of Israel, as a trap and as a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 15 And many among them will be certain to stumble and to fall and be broken, and to be snared and caught. 16 Wrap up the attestation, put a seal about the law among my disciples! 17 And I will keep in expectation of Jehovah  (יהוה), who is concealing his face from the house of Jacob, and I will hope in him. 18 Look! I and the children whom Jehovah  (יהוה) has given me are as signs and as miracles in Israel from Jehovah of armies, who is residing in Mount Zion.

Isaiah 8:14-18 ASV
(14) And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. (15) And many shall stumble thereon, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. (16) Bind thou up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. (17) And I will wait for Jehovah  (יהוה), that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. (18) Behold, I and the children whom Jehovah  (יהוה) hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from Jehovah of hosts, who dwelleth in mount Zion.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:

ALT - Analytical Literal Translation

ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).
