••• You should recognize and know "and use" God's Hebrew Name! It is יהוה and sounds like to English speakers... God Himself wrote with his own finger on stone tablets He then gave to Moses. (Exo 31:18) Using the Diving Name of our Creator is a uniting force in this divided world! •••

Genesis 7:1-8:17 CEV ...The LORD  (יהוה) told Noah: Take your whole family with you into the boat, because you are the only one on this earth who pleases me. (2) Take seven pairs of every kind of animal that can be used for sacrifice and one pair of all others. (3) Also take seven pairs of every kind of bird with you. Do this so there will always be animals and birds on the earth. (4) Seven days from now I will send rain that will last for forty days and nights, and I will destroy all other living creatures I have made. (5) Noah was six hundred years old when he went into the boat to escape the flood, and he did everything the LORD  (יהוה) had told him to do. His wife, his sons, and his daughters-in-law all went inside with him. (6) (SEE 7:5) (7) (SEE 7:5) (8) He obeyed God and took a male and a female of each kind of animal and bird into the boat with him. (9) (SEE 7:8) (10) Seven days later a flood began to cover the earth. (11) Noah was six hundred years old when the water under the earth started gushing out everywhere. The sky opened like windows, and rain poured down for forty days and nights. All this began on the seventeenth day of the second month of the year. (12) (SEE 7:11) (13) On that day Noah and his wife went into the boat with their three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and their wives. (14) They took along every kind of animal, tame and wild, including the birds. (15) Noah took a male and a female of every living creature with him, (16) just as God had told him to do. And when they were all in the boat, God closed the door. (17) For forty days the rain poured down without stopping. And the water became deeper and deeper, until the boat started floating high above the ground. (18) (SEE 7:17) (19) Finally, the mighty flood was so deep that even the highest mountain peaks were almost twenty-five feet below the surface of the water. (20) (SEE 7:19) (21) Not a bird, animal, reptile, or human was left alive anywhere on earth. (22) The LORD  (יהוה) destroyed everything that breathed. Nothing was left alive except Noah and the others in the boat. (23) (SEE 7:22) (24) A hundred fifty days later, the water started going down.
Genesis 8:1-17 CEV God did not forget about Noah and the animals with him in the boat. So God made a wind blow, and the water started going down. (2) God stopped up the places where the water had been gushing out from under the earth. He also closed up the sky, and the rain stopped. (3) For one hundred fifty days the water slowly went down. (4) Then on the seventeenth day of the seventh month of the year, the boat came to rest somewhere in the Ararat mountains. (5) The water kept going down, and the mountain tops could be seen on the first day of the tenth month. (6) Forty days later Noah opened a window to send out a raven, but it kept flying around until the water had dried up. (7) (SEE 8:6) (8) Noah wanted to find out if the water had gone down, and he sent out a dove. (9) Deep water was still everywhere, and the dove could not find a place to land. So it flew back to the boat. Noah held out his hand and helped it back in. (10) Seven days later Noah sent the dove out again. (11) It returned in the evening, holding in its beak a green leaf from an olive tree. Noah knew that the water was finally going down. (12) He waited seven more days before sending the dove out again, and this time it did not return. (13) Noah was now six hundred one years old. And by the first day of that year, almost all the water had gone away. Noah made an opening in the roof of the boat and saw that the ground was getting dry. (14) By the twenty-seventh day of the second month, the earth was completely dry. (15) God said to Noah, (16) "You, your wife, your sons, and your daughters-in-law may now leave the boat. (17) Let out the birds, animals, and reptiles, so they can mate and live all over the earth."
Genesis 7:1-8:17 NWT ...After that Jehovah  (יהוה) said to Noah: “Go, you and all your household, into the ark, because you are the one I have seen to be righteous before me among this generation. 2 Of every clean beast you must take to yourself by sevens, the sire and its mate; and of every beast that is not clean just two, the sire and its mate; 3 also of the flying creatures of the heavens by sevens, male and female, to preserve offspring alive on the surface of the entire earth. 4 For in just seven days more I am making it rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will wipe every existing thing that I have made off the surface of the ground.” 5 And Noah proceeded to do according to all that Jehovah  (יהוה) had commanded him. 6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the deluge of waters occurred on the earth. 7 So Noah went in, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark ahead of the waters of the deluge. 8 Of every clean beast and of every beast that is not clean and of the flying creatures and everything that moves on the ground, 9 they went in by twos to Noah inside the ark, male and female, just as God had commanded Noah. 10 And seven days later it turned out that the waters of the deluge came upon the earth. 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on this day all the springs of the vast watery deep were broken open and the floodgates of the heavens were opened. 12 And the downpour upon the earth went on for forty days and forty nights. 13 On this very day Noah went in, and Shem and Ham and Ja´pheth, Noah’s sons, and the wife of Noah and the three wives of his sons with him, into the ark; 14 they and every wild beast according to its kind, and every domestic animal according to its kind, and every moving animal that moves on the earth according to its kind, and every flying creature according to its kind, every bird, every winged creature. 15 And they kept going to Noah inside the ark, two by two, of every sort of flesh in which the force of life was active. 16 And those going in, male and female of every sort of flesh, went in, just as God had commanded him. After that Jehovah  (יהוה) shut the door behind him. 17 And the deluge went on for forty days upon the earth, and the waters kept increasing and began carrying the ark and it was floating high above the earth. 18 And the waters became overwhelming and kept increasing greatly upon the earth, but the ark kept going on the surface of the waters. 19 And the waters overwhelmed the earth so greatly that all the tall mountains that were under the whole heavens came to be covered. 20 Up to fifteen cubits the waters overwhelmed them and the mountains became covered. 21 So all flesh that was moving upon the earth expired, among the flying creatures and among the domestic animals and among the wild beasts and among all the swarms that were swarming upon the earth, and all mankind. 22 Everything in which the breath of the force of life was active in its nostrils, namely, all that were on the dry ground, died. 23 Thus he wiped out every existing thing that was on the surface of the ground, from man to beast, to moving animal and to flying creature of the heavens, and they were wiped off the earth; and only Noah and those who were with him in the ark kept on surviving. 24 And the waters continued overwhelming the earth a hundred and fifty days.
8:1-17 After that God remembered Noah and every wild beast and every domestic animal that was with him in the ark, and God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters began to subside. 2 And the springs of the watery deep and the floodgates of the heavens became stopped up, and so the downpour from the heavens was restrained. 3 And the waters began receding from off the earth, progressively receding; and at the end of a hundred and fifty days the waters were lacking. 4 And in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ar´a·rat. 5 And the waters kept on progressively lessening until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first of the month, the tops of the mountains appeared. 6 So it occurred that at the end of forty days Noah proceeded to open the window of the ark that he had made. 7 After that he sent out a raven, and it continued flying outdoors, going and returning, until the waters dried off the earth. 8 Later he sent out from him a dove to see whether the waters had abated from the surface of the ground. 9 And the dove did not find any resting-place for the sole of its foot, and so it returned to him into the ark because the waters were yet upon the surface of the whole earth. At that he put his hand out and took it and brought it to himself inside the ark. 10 And he went on waiting still another seven days, and once again he sent out the dove from the ark. 11 Later on the dove came to him about the time of evening and, look! there was an olive leaf freshly plucked in its bill, and so Noah got to know that the waters had abated from the earth. 12 And he went on waiting still another seven days. Then he sent out the dove, but it did not come back again to him anymore. 13 Now in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, on the first day of the month, it came about that the waters had drained from off the earth; and Noah proceeded to remove the covering of the ark and to look, and here the surface of the ground had drained dry. 14 And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth had dried off. 15 God now spoke to Noah, saying: 16 “Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons’ wives with you. 17 Every living creature that is with you of every sort of flesh, among the flying creatures and among the beasts and among all the moving animals that move upon the earth, bring out with you, as they must swarm in the earth and be fruitful and become many upon the earth.”
Genesis 7:1-8:17 ESV ...Then the LORD  (יהוה) said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that you are righteous before me in this generation. (2) Take with you seven pairs of all clean animals, the male and his mate, and a pair of the animals that are not clean, the male and his mate, (3) and seven pairs of the birds of the heavens also, male and female, to keep their offspring alive on the face of all the earth. (4) For in seven days I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and every living thing that I have made I will blot out from the face of the ground." (5) And Noah did all that the LORD  (יהוה) had commanded him. (6) Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came upon the earth. (7) And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him went into the ark to escape the waters of the flood. (8) Of clean animals, and of animals that are not clean, and of birds, and of everything that creeps on the ground, (9) two and two, male and female, went into the ark with Noah, as God had commanded Noah. (10) And after seven days the waters of the flood came upon the earth. (11) In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the windows of the heavens were opened. (12) And rain fell upon the earth forty days and forty nights. (13) On the very same day Noah and his sons, Shem and Ham and Japheth, and Noah's wife and the three wives of his sons with them entered the ark, (14) they and every beast, according to its kind, and all the livestock according to their kinds, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, according to its kind, and every bird, according to its kind, every winged creature. (15) They went into the ark with Noah, two and two of all flesh in which there was the breath of life. (16) And those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him. And the LORD  (יהוה) shut him in. (17) The flood continued forty days on the earth. The waters increased and bore up the ark, and it rose high above the earth. (18) The waters prevailed and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the face of the waters. (19) And the waters prevailed so mightily on the earth that all the high mountains under the whole heaven were covered. (20) The waters prevailed above the mountains, covering them fifteen cubits deep. (21) And all flesh died that moved on the earth, birds, livestock, beasts, all swarming creatures that swarm on the earth, and all mankind. (22) Everything on the dry land in whose nostrils was the breath of life died. (23) He blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark. (24) And the waters prevailed on the earth 150 days.
Genesis 8:1-17 ESV But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided. (2) The fountains of the deep and the windows of the heavens were closed, the rain from the heavens was restrained, (3) and the waters receded from the earth continually. At the end of 150 days the waters had abated, (4) and in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. (5) And the waters continued to abate until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen. (6) At the end of forty days Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made (7) and sent forth a raven. It went to and fro until the waters were dried up from the earth. (8) Then he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters had subsided from the face of the ground. (9) But the dove found no place to set her foot, and she returned to him to the ark, for the waters were still on the face of the whole earth. So he put out his hand and took her and brought her into the ark with him. (10) He waited another seven days, and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark. (11) And the dove came back to him in the evening, and behold, in her mouth was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters had subsided from the earth. (12) Then he waited another seven days and sent forth the dove, and she did not return to him anymore. (13) In the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried from off the earth. And Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and behold, the face of the ground was dry. (14) In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth had dried out. (15) Then God said to Noah, (16) "Go out from the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons' wives with you. (17) Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh--birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth--that they may swarm on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth."

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
