Galatians 1:3-12 GNB
May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. (4) In order to set us free from this present evil age, Christ gave himself for our sins, in obedience to the will of our God and Father. (5) To God be the glory forever and ever! Amen. (6) I am surprised at you! In no time at all you are deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ, and are accepting another gospel. (7) Actually, there is no "other gospel," but I say this because there are some people who are upsetting you and trying to change the gospel of Christ. (8) But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel that is different from the one we preached to you, may he be condemned to hell! (9) We have said it before, and now I say it again: if anyone preaches to you a gospel that is different from the one you accepted, may he be condemned to hell! (10) Does this sound as if I am trying to win human approval? No indeed! What I want is God's approval! Am I trying to be popular with people? If I were still trying to do so, I would not be a servant of Christ. (11) Let me tell you, my friends, that the gospel I preach is not of human origin. (12) I did not receive it from any human being, nor did anyone teach it to me. It was Jesus Christ himself who revealed it to me [and to you, when you read the Gospels].

Galatians 1:3-12 GW
Good will and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ are yours! (4) In order to free us from this present evil world, Christ took the punishment for our sins, because that was what our God and Father wanted. (5) Glory belongs to our God and Father forever! Amen. (6) I'm surprised that you're so quickly deserting Christ, who called you in his kindness, to follow a different kind of good news. (7) But what some people are calling good news is not really good news at all. They are confusing you. They want to distort the Good News about Christ. (8) Whoever tells you good news that is different from the Good News we gave you should be condemned to hell, even if he is one of us or an angel from heaven. (9) I'm now telling you again what we've told you in the past: If anyone tells you good news that is different from the Good News you received, that person should be condemned to hell. (10) Am I saying this now to win the approval of people or God? Am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be Christ's servant. (11) I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the Good News I have spread is not a human message. (12) I didn't receive it from any person. I wasn't taught it, but Jesus Christ revealed it to me.

Galatians 1:3-12 BBE
Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, (4) Who gave himself for our sins, so that he might make us free from this present evil world, after the purpose of our God and Father: (5) To whom be the glory for ever and ever. So be it. (6) I am surprised that you are being so quickly turned away from him whose word came to you in the grace of Christ, to good news of a different sort; (7) Which is not another sort: only there are some who give you trouble, desiring to make changes in the good news of Christ. (8) But even if we, or an angel from heaven, were to be a preacher to you of good news other than that which we have given you, let there be a curse on him. (9) As we have said before, so say I now again, If any man is a preacher to you of any good news other than that which has been given to you, let there be a curse on him. (10) Am I now using arguments to men, or God? or is it my desire to give men pleasure? if I was still pleasing men, I would not be a servant of Christ. (11) Because I say to you, my brothers, that the good news of which I was the preacher is not man's. (12) For I did not get it from man, and I was not given teaching in it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.

Galatians 1:3-12 CEV
I pray that God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ will be kind to you and will bless you with peace! (4) Christ obeyed God our Father and gave himself as a sacrifice for our sins to rescue us from this evil world. (5) God will be given glory forever and ever. Amen. (6) I am shocked that you have so quickly turned from God, who chose you because of his wonderful kindness. You have believed another message, (7) when there is really only one true message. But some people are causing you trouble and want to make you turn away from the good news about Christ. (8) I pray that God will punish anyone who preaches anything different from our message to you! It doesn't matter if that person is one of us or an angel from heaven. (9) I have said it before, and I will say it again. I hope God will punish anyone who preaches anything different from what you have already believed. (10) I am not trying to please people. I want to please God. Do you think I am trying to please people? If I were doing that, I would not be a servant of Christ. (11) My friends, I want you to know that no one made up the message I preach. (12) It wasn't given or taught to me by some mere human. My message came directly from Jesus Christ when he appeared to me.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
