Deuteronomy 30:10-14 CEV (10) But you must decide once and for all to worship him with all your heart and soul and to obey everything in The Book of God's Law. (for our day in time that means listening to Christ - Mat 17:5) (11) You know God's laws, and it isn't impossible to obey them. (12) His commands aren't in heaven, so you can't excuse yourselves by saying, "How can we obey the LORD's ( יהוה ) commands? They are in heaven, and no one can go up to get them, then bring them down and explain them to us." (13) And you can't say, "How can we obey the LORD's ( יהוה ) commands? They are across the sea, and someone must go across, then bring them back and explain them to us." (14) No, these commands are nearby and you know them by heart. All you have to do is obey!
Deuteronomy 30:10-14 LITV (10) For you shall listen to the voice of Jehovah ( יהוה ) your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in the book of this Law. For you shall turn back toward Jehovah ( יהוה ) your God, with all your heart and with all your soul. (11) For this command which I am commanding you today (listen to Christ - Mat 17:5) is not too wonderful for you, nor is it too far off. (12) It is not in the heavens that you should say, Who shall go up into the heavens for us, and bring it to us, and cause us to hear it, that we may do it? (13) And it is not beyond the sea that you should say, Who shall cross over for us to the region beyond the sea and take it for us, and cause us to hear it, that we may do it? (14) For the Word is very near to you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.
Deuteronomy 30:10-14 GW (10) He will do this if you obey him and follow his commands and laws that are written in this Book of Teachings and return to the LORD ( יהוה ) your God with all your heart and with all your soul. (In our day, that means we need to listen to Christ. - Mat 17:5) (11) This command I'm giving you today isn't too hard for you or beyond your reach. (12) It's not in heaven. You don't have to ask, "Who will go to heaven to get this command for us so that we can hear it and obey it?" (13) This command isn't on the other side of the sea. You don't have to ask, "Who will cross the sea to get it for us so that we can hear it and obey it?" (14) No, these words are very near you. They're in your mouth and in your heart so that you will obey them.
